Responsibilities
- Partner with the Regional Vice President of Operations, Executive Director, and community staff to determine and reach identified business goals
- Monitor and analyze community sales conversion ratios, inquiry statistics, referral sources, weekly sales activity reports, lost inquiries, move in/out trends, etc.
- Identify trends and recommendations to the operations team to drive census by working on-site at communities with the teams.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with religious, healthcare, skilled-care, business to business and other professional businesses, service clubs, support groups, funeral homes, retired professional associations, and financial entities
- Manage sales performance of the teams at the communities
- Hire and evaluate salespeople based on their proven ability to generate leads, get deposits and generate census
- Assist in development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, and benchmarks for the sales force to achieve
- Travels to assigned communities to coach sales staff and empower them to meet benchmarks and overall occupancy goals
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals and benchmarks of each assigned community to meet or exceed overall budgeted occupancy for the communities
Candidate Background
- Strong sales management experience with a minimum of 2 years in a multi-site or regional sales management position in the senior living or related industries
- 5 years of direct sales experience in the senior living industry
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Capable of seeing the “big picture” and be detail-oriented
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to assess sales and market performance
- Proficient in using a CRM as well as MS Office software including Excel
- Regional travel throughout Texas should be anticipated, with as much as 75% of a regional's time spent in communities
- The successful candidate will have professional level selling and marketing experience and knowledge that includes the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and/or services
- Possess the capacity to think strategically and implement strategic initiatives
- Capable of seeing the “big picture” and be detail-oriented
